Thank you for this great review. I am not a big fan of reading screenplays. l have always found them hard to follow. I am glad it is not the case with this book. I remember back in school when we studied Othello by William Shakespeare, it was a daunting task for me. I only liked the book after watching the Othello movie.

Hmmm. The author has done well. Delving back accurately into history is no small feat at all. Although I'm not sure I will enjoy this, I am open to seeing what it is about.

This book sounds very interesting. Plays can be boring. But from the description of this one, it might be one the exceptional. I would like to read about this violinist. Good review.

I have never read a screenplay in my life so that part in the review threw me for a loop. I'm really interested in Paganini's storyline. The character have a solid backstory that I could see developing.

Diabolus in Musica is written about a musician and his finding of new sound in musical effect. It’s the true story of Niccolo Paganini. I’m eager to read it.

I'm not a fan of screenplays, so I was hoping there would be a bit more than just the forward notes to read as a sample. Unfortunately there isn't more than that.

However, this review is a sample itself!
You did a great job with the book summary and details. You managed to intrigue someone like me, who isn't a fan of screenplays. I find the combination of history, drama and "dark", mysterious themes (like the character's involvement with the devil) entertaining to read.

Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing this book any time soon, as I am more interested in reading other genres. Nevertheless, congratulations to the author for winning the book of the day, and thanks to the reviewer who gave a wonderful review!
