I'm not into stories where politics is involved. Reading about bombings and terrorism only triggers my anxiety. However, it's a great book for readers who want to know the lives of medical practitioners in war-torn areas. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Refugee on a Pendulum is a suspenseful novel surrounding Middle Eastern geopolitics and shows us what life is like for innocent and hardworking people displaced by war and conflict.

I am always interested in stories about the Middle East. This one looks promising because of the seeming absence of stereo-typing we see in the Western media about Iraq and Syria. I wish, though, it was stronger on the historical aspects relative to the fiction.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. The plot sounds unique, but I’m looking for a more upbeat storyline at the moment, so I think I will pass for now.

I like the complex character of Sabah. I also wonder what happens to him when he is caught. Thanks for this nice review.

I find books with solid plot and interesting characters to be appealing. The action, suspense and thrill blended in the plot, as mentioned in the review, motivates me to want to read the book. I'm not a fan of political espionage, but I'll still read the book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The world is filled with Wars, this book comes at a time to make people understand what people in these regions go through and how they can cope in these circumstances.
It also brings to light the influence of the third party in these wars.
