Some experienced ateam better forgotten and left untold. Reading about the Holocaust is already on it own very painful. I wouldn't blame Stella's mum if she takes the secret to her grave. Congrats on BOTD.

Stella Claire ter Hart has done a great job writing this book. There's obvious a wealth of information in this book because of the necessary research carried out by the author to make closures. Her following generation won't have to go through tons of research to learn about their past. Congratulations on BOTD.

It's not easy to transition between timelines without confusing a reader, let alone between distinct languages. The author deserves commendation for achieving this.

Researching and writing about the holocaust wouldn't have been an easy task for the author. I greatly commend her for seeking closure and at the same time helping others to to do same with her book.

This is a well-written review. 'The author's unique style of switching between past and present events as a reader moves between chapters is impressive.' This makes the book even more intriguing for me. Kudos to the author.

The first story is about a woman who gives birth to twins. She talks about the difficulties she faced during pregnancy and the problems after they were born, and her relatives live in another city and there is no one to help her. And having two children is very strange for this person to the point where he asks himself if it was me who wanted them

Something that was verified in part by a simple body-count can't credibly be attributed to mass hysteria. Anyway I find ter Hart's ‘project' fascinating. It's hard enough piecing together any family tree let alone one wit so many missing people and, further, trying to understand the twin factor.

Stella Ter Hart's book Discovering Twins is a challenging, painful, and emotionally charged book about family, secrets, tragedy, and so much more. The story is about so much more than the title suggests, thus in my opinion it was insufficient. This is a tale about the connections we have, the ones we've lost, and the ones we're looking for. It is a story about what we learn after loss, and what we wish we could have spoken about.
The author is narrating her own narrative—and the story of her family—but occasionally she had to include extraneous details because the original ones had been forgotten over the years. She was able to convey a more complete story by using her imagination to fill in the blanks. It honored her mother and her foremothers.

This sounds to be a well-written historical account. Learning one or two things from the author's research into past times sounds great also. Congrats on BOTD.
