I like that the book is based on a historical event featuring the gold rush in Canada. I also like that it is action packed. Thanks for the review.

From the review, I understand that there is more to humanity than just wealth in gold. Trust (which is earned through action), friendship (closeness) and fellowship (closeness in interest) are valuable and can play where gold is worthless. The review is well written and I'm curious to read the book.

The way the review portrays the wilderness adventure and the incorporation of singing during their journey sounds captivating! I'm already excited to experience the twists and turns in this action-filled novel.
