An intriguing Irish thriller! Enjoyed the writing in the free sample. Definitely the sort of book I would read.

portray the perspective of Irish conflict through the eyes of a tourist, which Joe essentially is. It enables a lot of aspects to be explained without it seeming forced, while also giving an outsider’s opinion on the topic.
I would read this book just to see how this was pulled off! It just seems like an elegant way to give information in a story without it being an "infodump"! :)

The reviewer doesn’t mention any editing or grammatical errors, so I feel based on the sample and the review, a perfect score is an appropriate rating. I also felt the reviewer either doesn’t know what new enfatuation is like or doesn’t remember because of their comment about the main character’s behavior toward his love interest.

The Navigator 11, Irish Revenge. This really paints the picture of Ireland 's past, present and future; hospitality amidst horror. A very brilliant work that pricks the consciousness, revealing the reaction of a society plagued by political and religious upheaval in a silent dimension.

This sounds interesting. I like that the book is connected to Ireland and has a main character who is well developed and goes thorough a journey. The fact that the book is about the CIA is also intriguing. Thanks for your review.

The beginning chapters of the book started to sound boring because I personally don't like love books, but the action mixup made me want to read more about it.

Thanks for the review. It certainly helped to pique my interest. A plot that involves a CIA agent on secret mission, moreover with a background of Irish history is something I would like to read.

I like the fact that the novel focuses on portraying the present-day consequences of such a historically tormenting conflict as the Irish fight for independence. However, I have the feeling there is a superficial approach to the issue. I also disliked Joe Anderson's reflections on women. Thanks for your review!

Thanks, for this detailed review. Between your review and the author's clever use of interesting characters to give us some Irish history, I find myself wanting to learn more. So, I'll be adding this book to my reading list.

An interesting book filled with action and suspense. However not my cup of tea to deal with history and politically inclined stories. Congrats on BOTD though.

This book might have potential. I haven’t read its predecessor, which may account for why talks of the past seem boring. The new characters seem intriguing and mysterious. I’m rooting for Joe to respect his past but have an exciting new future.

This seems to be an espionage thriller, a genre I really don't read. However, it does sound interesting and I agree that the history of Ireland's strife is compelling. I do wonder why books like this always find it necessary to introduce a romance angle. It just seems like one element too many crammed in to the story. Just my opinion. Thanks for your insight on the book.

Thanks for your interesting review. It's quite obvious that you enjoyed this novel tremendously. This is not something I personally will enjoy though.
