What happened during Saul's hunting of David shows that leadership failure is dangerous to the survival and prosperity of any nation. You can imagine the Palestinians plotting to take over Israel while Saul was busy chasing David all over the nation. I am glad God intervened during this show of force.

The book seems to have interesting dramatization to make the read more engaging. David's story would surely be an engaging read for Christians and everyone else interested in the Biblical history. I also like that the author manages to highlight different aspects of David's life while portraying the importance of divine intervention in it. Thank you for the detailed analysis.

I enjoy biblical books that expand on the stories in the bible, and this review suggests that it is a book worth reading. The explanations on war and the weapons used sound interesting. Thank you for your informative review.
