A historical fiction book that rewrites history sounds great. More so, I like the cover of the book. Congrats on being the book of the day.

As a lover of Egyptian novels, this sounds like an interesting historical fiction far back in 1350BC. With the death of the Egyptian king comes different conflicts, chaos and betrayal. It will be interesting to know how these issues will be resolved. Congrats on the BOTD.

Thanks for an honest and a great review! Books containing politics are not really my cup of tea, so I’ll pass on this.

As a random person ..i wasn't very interested in history but i have to point out that if it's actually about egypt of 1350 B.C then my curiosity couldn't stay still .
And as of what kind of reaction did the peoples of that era showed when facing religious reforms ...i'm in a hurry to know more .
Thanks for the review

Your review was excellent and entertaining in itself. I love historical fiction, and this sounds like a book I would like to read. The small element of language that is too modern for the period would be annoying, but the story of Lord Hani is appealing.

I have to admit, there's not a lot of historical fiction about Egyptian royalty or maybe I just haven't come across them. This sounds intriguing though, might give it a read.

After reading the fox by M J Butler, I became more interested in historical fiction. The review of this book has defined this book as flawless and I am looking forward to getting a copy for myself. I have attained much knowledge of Greek history from the fox and believe bird in a snarl will give me the requisite information on Egyptian history. Congratulations on BOTD!
