I like historical fiction and appreciate books with a strong female character. Imagine being pregnant and abandoned in an unsafe place but continuing to mine for gold herself, which being a woman is unheard of at that time. I’m excited to read this.

I like historical fictions and this one seems exciting and well-researched. This is my first time hearing about Baby Doe. She seemed like an amazing woman.

I have to be honest, after coming across the title of this novel, I thought it wasn't convincing enough. But having gone through the story, it was profoundly exceptional. The author has done amazing work with the characters, and everything else makes total sense.

I am glad she stood up for her rights and did not take back her cheating husband. Sounds like an interesting story. Nice job on the review.

Reading this wonderful review alone made me fall in love with this exceptional woman. I admire her generosity, her courage, and her heart. I love reading stories about strong women, especially one that is based on a true person.

I sampled this book, and I agree with the review that this book is very well written. I will skip this book because the genre of western is off my alley. But I will retain good memories of sampling this book.

In this book,"GOLD DIGGER, The Remarkable Baby Doe Tabor" by Rebecca Rosenberg, I saw bravery in what Elizabeth did by staying to mine gold with her pregnancy. I would consider reading.

I am impressed by Baby Doe's courage to stand up for her rights and not be held back by societal expectations or rumors. It's inspiring to see a woman who values herself enough to fight for what's just. Congratulations on being BOTD.

This sounds like a beautiful story of perseverance on Doe's part, I'd definitely like to read it. Women were expected to confirm back then, so it's really interesting to hear a true story about one of the original women who broke that norm! Nice review as well!

I am a new fan of western novels. The women of that era were repressed and deprived of the simplest human rights. It's amazing to know that there was someone who stood their ground and fought for their rights. Knowing it is a true story makes it more appealing. I would love to read this book. Your review hooked me to this novel before I even started reading it. Amazing job!

I had never heard of Baby Doe or the Matchless Mine but after reading this review and discovering she was a real persona, I cannot wait to read this book and find out more about her and her story.
