Not really a fan of stories that involve faith and religion. Nevertheless, this book has lessons waiting to be absorbed. With all the questions of grief and guilt, this will clearly be worth the read. Thanks.

The content of this story is intriguing and heavy because the matter of forgiveness is not something to be taken lightly, especially forgiving something as grievous as murder..
Leo's response is the most human response but Amora's is divine which makes her being the book title nothing less than epic.

I'm not a Christian and I'm too much on SciFi reads, but I'm going to get this one. I feel I'm going to enjoy the love story between Leo and Amora,it looked real😊

I like that the author obviously faithfully described the moment when Amora was introduced to Christianity, with all the accompanying context. Thanks for the good review.

I rarely read books with religious themes, but this one looks really good. It is definitely difficult to forgive someone who killed your loved one, and I want to know how Amora deals with that decision.
Your review is well-written and detailed. Great job!

I'm intrigued by this historical fiction with Christian aspects. Will Amora choose vengeance or forgiveness? How does Leo go about seeking his revenge? Your review was very thorough, with just enough detail to intrigue without spoilers.

A fantastic historical fiction "Amora" by Grant Hallstrom, which focuses on Amora, who was married to a respectable Roman nobleman. However, when things turn sour in her life, she turns to Christianity. The book appears interesting to me to buy a copy.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This really shows a tough choice to make between forgiveness and revenge. Looking forward to know the choice Amora made.

Being an atheist, the Christianity element takes away some of the appeal of the book for me. But the plot still looks intriguing. I will probably check it out.

This is an amazing religious historical fiction novel highlighting Rome, marriage, parenthood, grief, loss, vengeance, and uncovering truths. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

This novel, though set in Ancient Rome, seems to explore moral quandaries that happen in any civilization. I will be interested to find out just how much of the resolution of this book is factored into a Christian only viewpoint.
