I like historical fiction. Other than the drama following Lucius and his father. Historical fiction tends to teach us about some happenings from the past. Like the growth of politics in ancient Rome and this makes it a good read

You lost me at ancient historical fiction because I do not dig that genre but the storyline seems promising.

The political intrigue in Roman was convoluted and deadly. This seems like a great short story about that time. Congratulations on BOTD!

The author faithfully portrayed the political system and intrigues typical of ancient Rome. I like that the plot is systematically developed. In addition, Linnea Tanner has a great sense of detail in the right places.

Unlike the previous readers, I am a fan of open-ended books. Especially in a book inspired by history. Political drama in Roman times must be...just like today's political scene. Good review!

As a fan of historical fiction, reading Two Faces of Janus was really wonderful. With a story plot that leaves readers spellbound, this story of ambition and family limitations is very intriguing.

I agree with the review............this book deserves a 4 out of 4 star rating.

A nice historical fiction story book "Two Faces of Janus" by Linnea Tanner, which follows Lucius, a young, ambitious man aspiring to rise up the political ladder in the Roman Empire. I want to read this one.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction set in Ancient Rome following a man who wishes to become a praetor for Emperor Augustus Caesar, but when the man's father get on Emperor's bad side with rumors of overthrowing the Emperor, the man's future might be in trouble. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
