This seems like an interesting book. Sports can be an amazing escape from the realities of life for kids and adults alike. It seems like Marshall was able to thrive in the world of baseball and his friendships with pro players. Congrats on BOTD and excellent review.

Besides baseball, covering topics like family and abused childhood makes the book to be one of actuality. The idea of mentorship and the struggle that the young boy encounters emphasise that you still need someone to teach you. I liked those ideas, and also the romance that has been gently touch by tge author.
Well ritten rewiew, thank you!

I absolutely love historical fiction, one of my favorite genres and the baseball theme in this one is something I'd no doubtedly enjoy. It reminds me of my favorite animation called everyone's hero. I looked forward to finding time to read about these four characters.

I'm not really understand baseball but this story makes baseball an interesting sport, adding with character development within the story makes a perfect combination
Each character have their complication that makes the story more interesting too

I'm not a fan of baseball, so I wasn't interested in reading this book. But it sounds like a great book for the fans. Congrats!

Personally, I like reading books about the life experiences of people younger than my age that lived in different generations, it makes me connect to them in a particular way. I really would love to read this book to read the experiences of the characters.

Thank you so much for the review!

I am not a fan of baseball, so I probably wouldn't enjoy this book. However, having well-developed characters is always good.

This is a fiction set in the sixties. Plotline revolves around four characters and baseball, the Yankees, home run and more. I like that this is about friendship, love, determination and growth. This is a well researched work on the M & M boys. A good book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

To be honest coming from someone in the 21st century I love reading books from the 60s there’s something real about their life, this book, just reading the review and a few pages of the book makes me want to read it, nothing better for the eyes than a book of sports mixed with real life happenings and romance all together

This review is an amazing summary of The M&M Boys. I feel like I can already relate to the characters, whereas I haven't even read the book. The storyline is a very interesting one. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like a heart warming book filled with providence. I like the character of Marshall already and I lile Roger for being there for such a sweet boy. I think in life we are impacted by positive people and we need more. I like the book. Great review.

I loved how the author portrays the way the children look up to the adults in their lives. The sample chapters look captivating too!

I saw once a movie about the subject and even though I am not a fan of the baseball, but facts were so fascinating that I watched it whole and quite enjoyed. Unfortunately, I don't look forward to repeat performance despite great storyline and won't be reading the book with same story. Still congratulations with BOTD!
