Great review. Loved your synopsis, and it made me really want to read the book. Your critique was detailed without giving anything away.

I don't think that this book is for me, but you did excellent job on the review and I really enjoyed reading it!

I am intrigued by this book. Liz seems like a very interesting character, and I love that the author does justice to the chapter where Patrick goes missing. I love it when books leave you with strong emotions and even have you crying in the middle. Thanks!

Sounds like a great book that shows the reader what a parent goes through after the tragic accident of losing a child. Wonderful review!

I like when a book references music throughout the story. I am the type that will hear the music in the background of my mind while reading. Thanks for the great review!

While this book sounds like an interesting recounting of a woman's tragedy, it sounds bleak and depressing. A person needs to be prepared for the depth of emotion and sadness that can be brought up by a book such as this one.

Thanks for the review, you give a very clear idea of what the book is like. I'm not sure if I will read it or not, it's a tough subject to read about as a parent.

You described Liz as a young mother perfectly! I was stunned when she threatened not to make her husband dinner just because he advised her to stay home and not go shopping. I enjoyed your review and plan to read the rest of this book.

: An interesting summary plot, which starts with a tragedy, and end with stories of Liz in San Fransisco meet a new life of drug, lies, sex rock n roll life style. Losing a child is more hurtful and painful than anything. I could feel her pains

Great review, HOLDONthere! With your able help, this book threatens to grab top spot on my reading list. The loss of a child, rock and roll and San Francisco in the 60's spell irresistible to me.
