I understand about romance - you got to love it or not. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment, godreaujea!

wow! Your review makes the book impossible to resist. The importance of revisiting a longtime past eluded me until I saw the author's comment. It's like killing two birds with a stone...I love it.

Great review! This sounds like a dream come true for fans of historical fiction and romance. Not only does it sound educational but also inspirational especially with the line "With themes of friendship, losing hope, trust, and everlasting love, Samyann has scripted a tale that I felt honored to read." Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm so happy to have a reason to finally force myself to sample this book!
Despite historical not being a genre I read very often, I've found myself adding books similar to this (historical romance via reincarnation) to my to-read list lately.
The fact that it comes so highly praised is just icing on the historical romance cake!

You sound like a true romantic! :-) Fantastic review! I love that you mentioned the learning aspect that takes place when reading books of this nature. So many people turn away from them because they don't know much about the time period, but that's why they should read them...to learn about it. :-) It sounds like a great deal at only $0.99. Congratulations to the author on a 4/4 review!

I added Yesterday to my want to read bookshelf because I like both historical fiction and romance. As a historian, I am interested in the themes of the American Civil War and how people lived in the South at the time. As for the romantic aspect, I am intrigued by the idea of soulmates reincarnating and traveling through time. Sounds like a beautiful novel. Thanks for the excellent review!

I'm glad you enjoyed this one so much. I'm not sure about the idea of reincarnation as far as past loves go either, but I definitely understanding wanting to protect yourself from being hurt again. I think I'll have to give this one a try (especially since YOU liked it.) Thanks!

Normally I'm not a big fan of romance but add time travel, reincarnation and history and I'm interested. After reading the sample and this review I'll definitely be checking this out. Congrats on being BOTD.

The time travel and reincarnation elements sound fascinating! I'm glad the author blended the two seemleasly in this fictional tale.

This book sounds intriguing, but I'm not one to enjoy angsty romance. It sounds like this book smacks of it. I'd like the story to prove me wrong, however! Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres. I love the idea of a character having been reincarnated, and I'd be interested to see how the author introduces two characters who meet and happen to have lived past lives. I can only say that had be a tricky plot to weave. I look forward to reading this book.

I love time travel and history. Thanks for mentioning the reincarnation, hsimone. That bothered me as well, but I'm glad to hear it doesn't throw off the story. I will pick this one up if I have half a chance. Thanks for the review.
