Enjoyed both reviews. Normally I don't care for books about the elizabethan era, but I want to give this a try. Thanks for the free book. Congrats to the author on having BOTD..

I relate this book to the series "Legends of Tomorrow" The theme is the same in that legends of tomorrow shows us how to time travel from the past to the future in the same way you can time travel from the future to the present. The theme of these book about time jump makes me want to read it because am interested in finding my own past and connecting to the events happening in my life right now.
Thanks for the great review.

This book sounds like a great read for historical fiction fans. It's a shame about the time jumps and how confusing they are. But I'm glad that other than that it was pretty good. Great review!

Wow! This sounds interesting. I've never read a book from the Elizabethan era. A thriller that's set in a parallel universe sounds unique! Great job on the review! I'm excited to start reading this book.

Thank you for the great review! A thriller that combines mysteries in history with mysteries in modern day, sounds like the book will be an interesting read. I think I'll read a couple of chapters before I make my decision on whether or not to read the whole book.

This sounds like a great read, especially the detailed imagery of the Elizabethan setting...it's always a treat to find yourself lost in another world when reading! This is definitely on my to read list and now I know to be aware of the potentially confusing occult story line. thank you for a great review!

I am fascinated by anything to do with the Elizabethan times, and with a dose of occult mystery thrown in! Also, the elixir of life has been a subject of many books in the past. Sounds like a good read.

I am Tudor fan and of Elizabeth I, so much so that I devour anything Tudor related. I eagerly downloaded the free copy of the book and look forward to reading it! Thanks for your great review!

I'm a fan of both speculative fiction and historical fiction. This book has them both so it's definitely a book I would like to read. Time travel stories are always fun, but it depends on what the protagonists do for a living and who they are as people. I'm glad I stumbled across your review Acwoolet!

A royal secret, deception, and intrigue sounds like an exciting historical mystery! The storyline sounds very involved! Too bad about the confusion and the ramblings, but I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the read!
