A book with a lot of motivation. Love, strength and tears. I cried when reading this book. This book just showed me God's love is the greatest achievement anyone would get

The review makes the story sound beautiful. I love the how Charlene turns to her father in the time of her distress, because there are times when our parents are the only ones able to help us or even understand us. The name and the cover suggest a religious undertone.I am not sure how strongly the religious beliefs have been portrayed here, but I will read the book if only to rediscover the values of love, loyalty, family bonding and last but not the least, the inner goodness in all of us. Thanks for the wonderful review!

Thanks for the review on I'll Point to Heaven. I like how you summarized the story and characters.
Learning about the Great Depression through a fictional story should be interesting. After reading the preview, the book seems like an easy read. After your review, the story has some meaning as well.

My great aunt grew up during the Great Depression and it was wonderful to hear her stories. This book combines family history with support after death. It wouldn't be nearly as interesting if the story wasn't told by a father to his daughter.

A historical fiction, romance novel that has elements of trade and drama. The focus being on the great depression and love. Not a book I'd find myself interested, but it looks well written and formatted.

Most of us have experience in losing someone we loved. We felt lonely suddenly. We felt everything is wrong. We lose hope, and we forget that we have God with us. Reading your review makes me reminiscing my past. This book is an amazing work for those who needed the way to cope with their feeling.

Great review. Historical fiction is really not my cup of tea but this sounds like a truly inspiring read with strong family values, a ton of emotion and a lot of heart and integrity. Thanks so much for sharing.

An historical novel revolving around themes of grief, hope and faith sounds inspiring. It is great that both characters possess inner strength, and that the story stresses values of family, hope, and integrity. That the author managed to take you inside the heart of the characters is to his credit. Not really my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed the book. Thank you for the review!

Wow! All the characters are unique in their own way. But if you don't get their point of view you might misjudge them. I guess the saying is true that "you should never judge a book by its cover", it's applicable to the four characters.
