I agree with it being "timely." The subject matter is certainly something that warrants an in-depth exploration, and I applaud the author for writing this. The technical errors concern me as well, having sample the book in Amazon and spotting some typos in the first pages. I do hope those get rectified soon.

Although I abhor separatist rights movements, in favor of universal human rights through the vehicle of self-determination, I didn't stop reading after the first couple of chapters. I'm glad I didn't because the storyline doesn't focus on these issues, exclusively. This review doesn't even mention them as a sub-plot, but reading the prologue and the first few chapters could cause some readers to stop reading. Please persevere! It is such a timely book.

If you`ve been wondering whether one can predict her country`s political future, you got your answer right here. In this novel "Sedition" this happens where a 'terrible' America is painted by the author.

The book paints a gloomy picture of America`s future political destiny. It`s a prediction that the author artistically pass a warning to the country`s political actors. Good read I must add to my shelves

Sounds like this book is prophesy about the future. Whether politics is not your liking or not, theres no excuse to be ignorant of your country particularly political affairs because its YOU who is choosing who will be governing your country by your vote.

Thank you for reviewing the book! The setting is eerily similar to the U.S.’s current political climate and that of the rest of the world. I like that people from different backgrounds and ideologies were able to band together despite their differences.

I find the plot of this book ignorant and racist. I really don't think this is the type of book that people should be reading right now. It will just add hatred and fear to people's hearts. I'm sorry to see that a book like this has been made book of the day. Although I do appreciate your review, and it is "hijab" not "hajib".

I have to say that the prologue left a bad taste in my mouth. In today's climate, I really don't think we need stories where a Muslim man is made out to be the villain who is ruining the country, setting back progress made by a hundred years. Of course I've only read the preview, and I persevered to read all of it, but it went from painting the Muslim president in a bad light (honestly, you take the chance to write the first Muslim President of the US and instead of showing how that could be great, you feed into the ignorance and racism; such a shame), to a description of a woman that made me feel uncomfortable.

While I'm sure the story could be great and very interesting, all of the above coupled with the editing mistakes and such I've encountered already, I won't be spending any more time on this book. This is not the time for it.

A well worded review on a possible event that might happen after a quarter century in America. the review is finely crafted and gives a clear overview on what the story is and what you could expect while reading the book. Based on the review, readers who love political thriller will certainly make a decision to get this book.

Thank you for a great review Lennycat. A scary scenario, hopefully this book is used as a wake up call to people to be more careful in who vote for. Intriguing story. Thanks to the author.

Very good review. I normally only read horror and paranormal but I may have to read this. Hits so close to todays screwy world that it peaks my interest.

I enjoy political thrillers. This one seems like it combines history (Germany before and during WW2) and our current political weariness. I know my husband will enjoy this, too. Two more people will read this.

I love dystopian fiction and this political thriller seems to fit the bill perfect. It seems to fit into our world today and it's scary. Congrats on being BOTD.
