This book is right up my alley! I'm definitely adding this to my bookshelf. If you like this type of historical fiction, I highly suggest reading The Daughter of the Forest. Juliet Marillier is one of my favorite authors, and she writes a lot about ancient Briton and druids. If you haven't read it, check it out!

I read the sample reading of Apollo's Raven and found the book to be interesting. I love anything that is mythical/mystical based, magic, and druids, among other genres. The idea that Princess Catrin can see through a raven's eye and not transform into one is intriguing. I enjoy the way the book is written and the plot seems captivating, although I'm not really all that impressed with the characters, except for Agrona and Princess Catrin. Also, I like the fact that the book went straight into conflicts pretty quickly with Mor not believing her sister Catrin and the tension between the Celtics and Romans. To me, of what I read so far, doesn't match the book cover. It is a bit off putting. I'm conflicted whether I want to read this book because the pros and cons are at equals, but I would have to say no for now.

Your review was great! Who wouldn’t want to read about a forbidden love, family curse, and a characters superpowers over ravens. I’m curious to find about there love, does there family curse get resolved, and how the characters powers came to be. Thank you for your review, I’m excited to get started on this book!
