It is pleasing to hear that the diabolically diverse cast is brought to life through accurately described native dialects and culturally appropriate terminology. In this Warramunga series, MI6 are on a mission to rescue Colonel Johnny Cook, who was kidnapped by bandit. I love the storyline. Great review.

This book, like the others in the series, sounds incredibly interesting. I love historical fiction stories. It sounds like this book can be read as a standalone which is the only way I would pick up a book in the middle of a series.

I had no idea that Skills of the Warramunga is a part of a trilogy. I have to ask this for those that have read the other books- Do I have to read the other two in order to understand what is going on in this one? I would like to read this one as it is BOTM but if I do not understand the entirety of the story with just this book, then I will have to catch up and read the other two first.

While I enjoy mysteries, I don't particularly like stories with guns and fights. But the review makes it sound interesting. Thanks for the recommendation! I might read it.
