Through the book, I saw the influence women can command. I will read "Amora" by Grant Hallstrom with particular focus on circumstances surrounding the death of Leo's daughter.

This sounds like quite an emotionally heavy story. I’m not sure I would enjoy Amora’s story, but I’m sure a lot of people out there would. Well done on a great review!

This is quite an interesting story. The situation must be very hard on Amora and Leo; losing a child is not something any parent wished for. I like the way the book brings back to light the persecution of Christians in the old Roman Empire. So the new day Christians who have the privilege to serve God freely will know what went down before now.

The pain of losing a child is sometimes unbearable. I'm glad Amora became a Christian and was able to choose forgiveness over vengeance and channel her efforts towards bettering the lives of abandoned foundlings.

This is a very informative review, thank you! I sampled this novel and I agree with all points - a thought-provoking historical fiction story deftly crafted and impeccably edited. I also feel like it deserves the full stars.

I appreciate the bled of a Roman background and introducing of Christianity to teach forgiveness. I like reading historical fiction books and one based in the time of the Romans sounds like a great read.

This is actually my first time ever doing a book review and I have to admit that your description of these book was very in depth and detailed. It sounds to me like this book is really deep and touches on subjects that are not easy to bear. Im not sure if I could really enjoy this book at this stage in my life, but that's not to take away from the talent of the author

It was the most noble decision Amora makes to forgive the killer of her daughter. This sounda like an amazing historical fiction. Thanks for the amazing review.

The book cover and title is captivating. This book plot is intriguing especially as it revolves around historical fiction. The tragedies experienced by this young woman make me want to know more and if she was able to be courageous and stand by her faith even with the challenges.

Congratulations to the author for winning book of the day. Even for Christians, making the decision between revenge and forgiveness requires divine assistance. This is a really important lesson, in my opinion.

The lack of errors and expert editing in Amora make it an enjoyable read. The anticipation of a twist related to Amora's daughter's death heightens my interest in reading it. I'm definitely considering giving it a go!

As a parent, it's not easy to actually forgive someone when they hurt your child. Having to forgive them for death is even worse. I'd love to see how Amora deals with this situation.

I always like stories where the protagonist is shown going through different phases and finally emerges as a completely changed person. In this case, Amora's character changed for the better, and her character's positive growth attracted me the most.
