This sounds like a lovely book, but I'm not a fan of this genre; I'll pass.
Great review!

This sounds like an exciting read for historical fiction fans. And I love with time-travel involved, "the author made it abundantly clear when and where the story was taking place." Thanks for the review.

Amanda is hanging on her past life, as a result, she doesn't want to let anyone close. Her past is painful and heartbreaking. She has lost so many people she can't afford to lose anyone else. Will Mark convince her enough that what they have is real?

This sounds like it may be a nice romance. I do like stories where couples have a deep connection and fight the feelings then eventually give in to them. Sounds like this could be one of those, but unfortunately I am not sure if I will read it and find out. Congratulations on getting BOTD though.

A nice historical fiction romance story in the book "Yesterday" by Samyann, which is set during the American Civil War,where the slaves and the white children come together. The story follows Amanda,a brokenhearted young woman who vowed to never let anyone close to her again , and Mark, a handsome police officer who tries to convince her of the deep love they have for each other. The story appears to be quite entertaining.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Wow, based on the review, I felt compelled to read the book as well. I felt that this reviewer enjoyed every moment of the book, which I want to do as well. I love stories on reincarnations and second chances.

I really enjoy the passion that you put into this review. I love historical fiction for the very reason you stated. However, I tend to avoid romance stories, so I don't know how well I would like this book.

When I first picked up this book, I wasn't sure what to expect. The plot seemed somewhat intriguing, but the idea of reincarnation was a bit off-putting for me. However, after reading some of the positive reviews for Yesterday, I decided to give it try. I am pleased to say how thrilled I am that I did
This is the part of your review that tipped the scale for me and I decided to "go for it!" Even though I don't agree with reincarnation, it certainly is a fascinating idea and I'm not surprised it is well written about. Also, you demonstrated that this book had such an avalanche of other great qualities I just had to jump on board.

Thanks for your help in my decision. It was a thorough and clever review.

Sincerely, LLR

and to open its to seals,

by your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and Nation." Rev. 5:9
