I like the story of Amanda and Mark as they live in the era of the American Civil War. It will be good to got through the disappointments Amanda went through as far as her love for Mark is concerned. Nice review.

Thank you for sharing this great review with us. Interesting how a cover and title can leave you wondering if you would enjoy a book - after reading your review, I am definitely adding this book to my reading list.

Thanks for the review. Glad to know you enjoyed the read. However, romance is not my preferred genre, so I will have to pass this.

I love a good historical romance story. But the thing about reincarnation puts me off a bit. Nevertheless I see you have really enjoyed the book and I will give it a try.

I've not read a book with history and romance. Seems this is a perfect blend. This novel will be my first read of this type. Surviving in difficulty is an experience filled with lessons. Thanks for the review.

Romance is not my kind of stuff, but this novel reminds me of an episode of The X-Files based on reincarnation.

I love the fact that Amanda and Mark's story is not merely another romance, but it also includes good descriptions of the times of the American Civil War and The Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Thanks for a great review!

I don’t usually read historical fiction or romance as I have found these genres quite dry whenever I tried them in the past. Nevertheless, the reincarnation and time travelling aspects sound interesting.

I am also interested in reincarnation. I believe that if I read Yesterday I might understand a little bit of this phenomenon. Great review!
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)

Historical romance and time travel? That's a first for me. Might just be worth a try. Thanks @hsimone for this review

Historical fiction isn't for me so I'll pass, but I know someone who would really enjoy it. Nice review.

Sounds intriguing. I like the fact that this time, a woman saved a man's life but not as much as I love stories that play with the past, future, and the world as we know it altogether. Awesome review

Yesterday is a harrowing tale of escape through the American civil war and this the heart wrenching love of slaves for their young white charges. The love is deeply indeed.
