With a sister and priest about to break their vows this sounds like a very intriguing story line. Nice review.

What can’t resist a story that includes a nun, a priest, and the word ‘deceitful’? :) you make this sound really interesting, and It is just up my street. Many thanks for the review. Hopefully, the author will take your recommendation and improve the editing next time round.

After browsing the sample on Amazon, I must admit that I was rather skeptical.

The pacing felt disjointed, as though the author was attempting to race through Beth's history, and I felt as though the events that were meant to be significant or emotional (such as the death of her parents) were not treated with the appropriate gravitas.

However, you addressed this in your review and the promise of deepest longing and heart-rending angst later in the plot sound wonderfully appealing. I was rather reluctant to purchase the book in its entirety but the reviewer's praise had made me reconsider. I feel as though I might add it to me reading list for an Autumn evening of turmoil and love.

I like how the author makes character growth central to the plot while creating a suspenseful and dramatic storyline. Thank you for the detailed review.
