A book of romance. She seems to be awesome here. It reflects WWII and how women struggled. Thanks

This is a bit of a different perspective for a WWII book. I love that it's from the eyes of a female. Sounds like there's some good themes. Plus, it's just all around entertaining. Thanks!

I am a fan of historical fiction, and this one sounds interesting! And it has romance in it! Women had no choice but to go into the workforce during WWII, and they did the jobs well. It is a shame we have had to fight so hard for equality in types of employment and income. Today I see women working at road construction sights, driving big trucks, fighting on the front lines beside the men in our military, but it has been a long time coming! I am sure to be a female reporter in that era was extremely difficult. Thanks for a wonderful review!

I love Martha as narrator of this book. That is definitely an appealing factor for reading this. But lately, I find that I really need to be in the mood to read war books. Great review.

Indeed a combination of thrill, mystery, history, and romance all in one book would definitely make it something to reach out for. Even the 21st century ladies still face a bit of the struggle the character faced though we aren't in war times. A beautiful review from you. Thanks.

A historical fiction mystery set in WWII sounds like it will appeal to many readers. The female protagonist and feminism theme add interest. Thanks for the thorough review.

I enjoyed your interesting review, but I really dislike books that leave me with unanswered questions, so I will pass on this one!

This one sounds interesting indeed! Still, I'm not too sure if unanswered questions are my thing, although the author seems to have weaved multiple themes with a lot of finesse. Thanks for the review.

I was tempted by the fact that the story takes place at the end of WWII and features a strong female protagonist. However, I think it needs further editing and polishing of both the descriptions and the dialogues. Thanks for your review!
