Great, thorough review! I'm glad you enjoyed this book and that it can be read as a standalone. It's also wonderful that the character development was well achieved, considering this book comes from a series. I also enjoy that the author incorporated this story into real-life events. I look forward to reading this novel.

While this review was very detailed , for me it was also very confusing with all the names and people to keep track of. It is unfortunately not a book for me. It is rare that I take a liking to historical fiction books. However, it looks like the author did create well developed characters. Congratulations on the BOTD

Good review must really be an interesting book. The Egyptian history the characters properly developed. I'm intrigued by the family being delightful on hearing the Kings depreciating heath. What an interesting book.

Wow, this read is intriguing indeed. I expect a Master of Stables to deal with horses. However, Hani seems to be one of the king's most trusted subjects. I guess I'll give it a try, get to know what it means to be a Master of Stables. Congrats on being the BOTD.
