Very dramatic. I'm not sure I want another reminder of Covid. I'll pass on this one for now. I really enjoy your reviews and thank you for this one.

I like your review more than the book itself. I don't know but it sounds kind of boring to me. The only aspect of the book that i find amusing is that it includes current global affairs like the covid 19 pandemic.

The book sounds like a riveting historica fiction. I like that the author used a lot of creativity in developing characters, and that the dialogues in this book are engaging. I'll definitely read this one. Congrats on the BOTD!

The author seems to use a mixture of historical events for this book. I am unsure about the Covid context, though. I think it's too early to use Covid for historical fiction.

I agree with you that the general presentation of a book equally affects a reader's enjoyment of the same text. Thanks for your thorough review.

I am sorry to say, but no matter how good book sounds in review, I never was in favour to read parts of the series as a standalone. So until I research previous books of Jolt Survival Trilogy I won't be able evaluate objectively this one. No offence and congrats with BOTD!

It is so odd to have a "historical" fiction book involving the COVID-19 virus and George Floyd considering how recent these events have occurred. It sounds like an emotional journey that we can all relate to at least a little.

Are the numberings that you mention in your review footnotes? Still, it seems that the book is very well researched, which is always a plus. Thanks for the review.

This book offers a very heartfelt story about a family. The unique mannerisms included via the speech of the characters makes it more personal, making the characters also more relatable.

This book and its serious topics sound very well-executed, but I’m afraid the topics don’t really appeal to me. I hope others will enjoy this book.

This sounds like a heart-wrenching account of tragedy, but also the importance of perseverance. I like that the book weaves fiction and fact into the story. It sounds like the characters are well-developed. Thanks for the detailed review.

Home Again 2020 is part of Jolt Survival Trilogy. A tale of survival and endurance. 2020 was a year with its challenges. I believe the author exploited that to ensure relevance among eager readers. Congrats on being BOTD.

Every work has its risks that negatively affect the human being. Some of us resist and change the way of life, and some of us accept pain and suffering.

There is a lot going on in this story and using current events is a way to make the reader relate to the story. I would be interested to read how the character copes with the social upheaval and the world-changing pandemic.
