I like how authentically and convincingly the author presented the personality of Earnest Hemingway to the readers. Here I would especially like to single out the details that speak of his propensity for alcohol and insensitivity. I like that Finley inherited her father’s courage and is not afraid to follow her dreams and become a litigation lawyer.

This sounds very interesting. I do not normally read historical fiction, but this caught my interest. I might just read this one! Thanks for the great review!

Thanks for this great review! This book is such a fun recreation of the author's life and a study of the mind of a literary genius. I look forward to reading more of it. And I like how it represents the powerful "truth" contained in great fiction: although it is a fully imagined story, it is still full of incredible empathy, understanding, and wisdom helpful to its readers.

According to him, "...love is all there is", and it "...will find you if you refuse to find it. That's its mission."

Hmmm. Will love say "Mission Accomplished" in my case?

I am eager to read this intriguing "what-if" story of the great writer. Could he not have killed himself if he had a doting daughter?

I always liked the writings of Hemingway and am interested to see how the novel develops the relationship between him and his daughter. I like how it adds something more to his life.

I find it difficult to picture how Hemingway's daughter would be. I think she would probably be spoiled, and everything would always go her way. Thank you for your review.

Such a wonderful fiction.Despite life challenging issues on the part of Hemingway,Finley never gave up on her father.Neither did Finley look down upon herself, she rather buttresses upon Hemingway weaknesses to build a brighter future for herself. Its such a wonderful review and would love to read the book!

I love the way the author used her creative mind to insert what was not originally there and still maintained the story.

I love the concept of this work - it sounds like great historical, speculative fiction. Not only a good way to learn about Hemingway but also the mid- twentieth century. Thanks for the review!

Sounds like a tough order to create a character that doesn't exist in a family that existed like the Hemingway's but it's a good job from the author

To rewrite a Nobel Prize winner's life, take a lot of imagination. Adding a daughter, a must-read. I loved reading the sample pages. The review was excellently written. The author did an amazing job.

Fictitiously recreating a famous person and making it seem real, is quite a feat. I look forward to reading more about the daughter that never was. Thank you for a great review.

I absolutely adore the quote. I too believe that love will find you when you expect it the least. I found my husband when I was searching for everything, but love.

I also enjoy fiction and hope that his daughter brings an extra twist to his story. Thank you for a well written review.
