Seems to be an interesting story of a person starting from the school time to oscillating between countries as a refugee. A powerful depiction of political turmoil in Iraq, Syria and their neighbourhood. A nice review.

The atrocities that refugees has to face has been described in the book vividly. The book includes present-day issues and convey the hardships one has to face living in a war torn country. You summarised the book in the best way. Keep it up!

I like that the book is full of action and suspense. The author pointed out in a very convincing way the impact of religious, political and military turmoil on the lives of ordinary individuals. I like that there are strong female characters.

Congratulations on being the BOTD. This story is interesting for someone like me, because it is set in an environment different from where I come from. Yet, it also reminds one of the fact that someone can dedicate his literary life to one basic theme. Refugee is key here, it maybe the life of one. Good review.

This is a political espionage thriller filled with action and suspense. It raises awareness of the refugees’ fate and their struggle to integrate into a completely different cultural environment. What makes it a life-long saga of Russian roulette encounters? A well written book and a good book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

I'm not into political thrillers so I'll pass. Surely the book will be appealing to other readers though.

This book seems like it has it all. Suspense, Political turmoil, action, thrill, and I suspect some romance as well. The review summarises the book really well and makes me want to check it out. Congrats on BOTD.

Firstly I like the review, and the name of the book draws attention also but I don't think it's for me so I'll skip. Congrats though BOTD.

Purported as a political espionage thriller filled with action and suspense, readers of the genre are really in for a treat! With an overarching theme focusing on the consequences of military, religious, and political turmoil on the lives of ordinary people, this novel looks like it brings a lot to the table.
