This book sounds quite dense and one that requires a lot of concentration to really get the full picture, so I may have to pass on it for today. Anyone who likes historical fiction should give it a try though!

I was almost interested given the plot sounds quite promising however I have no patience for long and detailed narrations as I prefer my books fast paced. With utmost regret I will have to give this book a pass. Congrats on BOTD.

I'd love to read this book because of its mystery plot. Hopefully, Patcja and Halina would be able to unravel the cause of the mysterious disappearance. Good plot. Thanks for your review.

A book about two polish sisters and their life in Chicago. If you enjoy historical fiction, this will be interesting.

This appears to be a beautifully written book. The author has a wonderful, lyrical writing style that captivated me through the first couple of chapters. Congratulations to Ms. Records on her achievement and for earning BOTD.

The book's length is discouraging, but the plot is tempting. Why are the tavern owners disappearing? The sleuth in me is dying to know.

The review of this book got me wondering and pondering about the mystery surrounding Joey's disappearance and what would Patcja's fate afterwards. The book sounds interesting and captivating. I congratulate the author on being the book of the day!

I am particularly curious on discovering the mystery behind the disappearance of Auggie and Joey, and what happened to Patcja and Bear when they took control of the tavern. The thematic content of this book also makes it captivating.

This historical fiction seems to have a lot going on in it. I'm not a big fan of this genre, so i might skip this.
