Wow, the story is scary and totally timely. And if we're not careful, we're heading in that very dystopian direction...

The author has managed to deliver the message intended and just by reading the intro of the book it shows how great it is.
I think that this book is very awesome and its a must have book.
Keep it up author :tiphat:

Though the reviewer expressed some personal prejudices in the course of the review I still think that the review is great and concise. The novel is a political thriller that draws the attention of the reader to some totalitarian excesses in some parts of the world and highlights the need to resist such oppressive regimes. It is a relevant story for everyone.

A sneak preview into the future with little or no comforting news. Dennis Stephan's looks on life in the United States in 25 years' time, I agree, it's disturbing. However, Acts of Sedition has an interesting story. I think the review is for those who'd like to use their imagination to see what could possibly be the true events. Quick learners can draw a distinction on the real world today and the ficticious world of the future.

This book seem to have a high profile and a very serious topic! A good approach buy the author to make people think what would happen if the sharia law was imposed and if the world was run by Muslims. The world is quite troubled by extremist people. This defines that! Good review!

I normally like political fiction, however this may not be for me. Due to the heavy religious references, I hope there was a lot of research involved. Congrats on book of the day. Great review.

Not my typical genre of book tho so I'll pass but the novel is about a president who is out of control, a country crouching under his yoke & a resistance movement on the rise. The novel is not that far fetching afterall. It should interest those interested in political thrillers

I read the sample of this book, and this review and subsequent comments. Maybe it’s because I’m British and not American that I seem to be going against the general consensus here, but I found it to be fairly propagandist and playing to all of the stereotypes of how Islam seems to be viewed in the USA. I feel that had this book being written the same way, but about a Jewish president who banned pork etc people would be a bit more critical of it. Maybe in it’s entirity the book has a bit more depth, but from the sample I feel that I don’t want to keep reading it.

First of all, both the author and reviewer seem to confuse a hajib, which a quick Google search says is an official within Islam, with a hijab, or a head covering worn by some Muslim women. A pretty easy mistake to make, but easy to fix as well. It suggests that there isn't as much attention to detail as this subject matter would require. I don't agree that this is a 4/4, but I think it at least has potential and is at least worth considering.

The review is excellent, but the problem is with the author who has presented the distorted picture of Islam and portrayed it horribly. I will suggest the author to read authentic books on Islam's political system.

Thank you for the insightful review! It would be interesting to read how the author sees America in 25 years. This alternate future may be terrifying, but it is not impossible to imagine.

While I agree with the main review about the interesting content of the book, I found the writing style distracted. what is it with the many tiny chapters? There was little room for any idea to be developed and it gave a jerky reading experience.

The theme of this book is dark and somewhat makes me feel uncomfortable. I guess it will help you feel like living the future before it catches up with you. Interesting book, just not my cup of tea.

Thank you for your alarming review. I certainly hope we're not headed toward anything like this.
