I love books set in a war era. The grammatical errors may force me to have a rethink though. Great review!

I've only read the sample pages, but I can't say that I was gripped by either the story or the characters. Might give this one a miss, but thanks for a great review!

I like the combination of romance and historical fiction. The story has a charming echo of Jane Eyre and I'm sure Katy will prove a strong character. I'm curious to find out how the war will change her life and what path she will choose in the end. Thanks for your review!

The story seems like it is something worth reading. I am curious as to how the story ended since it happened at a time of war. I look forward to giving the book a try. Thank you for the good review. :D

This review makes the book sound very interesting, exploring the nature of marriage and the struggles one can have in life.

I didn't want to read another war related book. But, almost all the books I've read seem to be about WW II. So, I'm a bit curious about this book as it's about the First World War. Maybe I'll give it a try. So, thanks for the great review.

It is really hard to write a good "war book" in my opinion. I am glad you enjoyed this read. I might give it a chance. Good job on the review.

After reading the first chapter, I was hooked. I love historical fiction. Learning about others reflection of war.
Also, looking forward to reading the other two books in the trilogy.
Thanks for the informative review.

An emotional book following the young and powerful Katy who decides to go on her own adventure, which may destroy her good name and honor. I definitely like romantic historical fictions, so I may read this one. Congrats on BOTD!

Thanks for the review. I love reading romantic novels but I do not enjoy reading stories with the backdrop of world war. So I will pass reading this book.

I won this book in free giveaway in January and was quite impressed by it. Typically, I do love historical fiction, but not this kind and definitely not about this era. But since it was free win I read it anyway and ended up purchasing next two books from series))
