The title is beautiful and it's amazing that this is a historical fiction. I enjoyed the review and I love that it's a clean book in the sense that it can be read by anyone.

This is a compelling book and given that it does not contain any sexual content or profanities, I would like to read it. Thanks for the comprehensive and informative review.

The atrocities of the Nazis during the past always intrigue me. The fact that the book is based on real events make it a heavy, yet interesting read.

The Nazis committed so many atrocities, yet each time I read about one it’s still shocking. I never read anything about Putin, so I may give this one a look. Thanks for the review, Kelobogile. :techie-studyingbrown:

I read a book of this genre few months back and it impressed me a lot. This one also seems to be my type and who won't like a book on Nazis and Hitler. Looking forward to reading this amazing historical fiction.

A book set during WWII seems to be interesting.

Thank you for the great review.

A nice historical fiction book "The Weeping Woman of Putten" by Alyce Bailey, which is based on true events, focuses on Nazi war crime against the town of Putten. The book appears to be quite educative and also an eye opener.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I stand advised. Indeed I would not enjoy an emotional book. I would prefer a less personal and more factual account of the war. However, I do appreciate that this kind of book is much more likely to have an informative effect on a wider audience.

The title caught my eye first. How evocative! But then to read that it is based on a true story, wow. Honestly, it sounds too heart-wrenching for my taste, but I really enjoyed reading your review.

Wow, I might not have been a fan of historical books but the title of this book and the review got me thinking twice.
I can't wait to actually read this book to find all the amazing things that were mentioned in the review.
Good job

75 years ago, WWII ended. We do not need a third. Humanity should unite in fighting evil, not each other. This story will surely torment and make us remember the brutality of war. May we never forget its hard lessons.

The book cover is very nice. I would not have thought it was about the second world war without reading the review. Strong-willed female protagonists are often my favourite characters. Thanks for the review.
