The excitement at the end of the book is what specifically attracted me to this book. Thanks for the review.

‘I don’t think I’d read a better series book this year...’

That good, huh? I can believe it just from the sample. Nevertheless, your review really exposes well the dynamism of the book. I wonder if the whole series is like this.

I like the uncertainty and excitement that the writer so faithfully conveyed in the pages of the book. Excellent review.

Unusual, complicated and so very interesting because of it! I read description reviewer provided and opinion of today's BOTD and immediately downloaded a sample to test writing style for myself. Completely agree with everything good that was told about this book in review and believe I will enjoy it a great deal!

I love both historical novels and mystery books, so I think this series is right up my alley. Since this is book 3 in the series, I'd like to start with the first one and then move on to the others. Thanks for your review!

I found too many characters and with names so difficult to know who would be who, but with this review it made me think that the author managed to manage it well. I was curious about the ending. What will happen?

I'm not a fan of historical books, but this one seems to be so interesting. Especially because it is connected to the history of Egypt and some activities that used to happen in reality. You haven't spoken about the grammar or typos but from your review, I can tell that you barely found any. Also the style and character development was great. Thanks for the review!

I love historical fiction novels surrounding ancient Egypt. The fact that the review praises the thrilling aspects of the plot and the great characters is definitely an added bonus.

A nice mystery filled historical fiction "Scepter of Flint" by N.L. Holmes, which revolves around Hani, to whom the Babylonian king has assigned the job of finding out plight of the Egyptian soldiers. This one appears to be quite an amazing read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Emissaries, attacks, commissioners, and secret plots would certainly give this mystery novel some clandestine spice! Thank you for providing such a detailed, thorough, and engaging review.

Screpter of Flint ~ is a Historical Fictional Book which tells of Hani being a new master of the king's stables and being able to represent the king. Great storyline. His daughter, Neferet, played a a wonderful role as being a physician for the royal women.

Thrilling. Intriguing. Flawlessly written. Best recommended to other Historical Fiction and Mystery readers.

Sounds like a very enjoyable book. The plot sounds interesting, and since the characters are also well developed, it definitely sounds worth reading.
