Brandy, Ballard of a pirate princess had me intoxicated from the first three chapters especially the opening which introduces Brandy as a young pirate heiress whose life was about to change due of betrayal from a trusted and loyal friend of her father.
Dan Hendrickson really outdid himself with this work of art and I can wait to read the remaining chapters.

Murders, slavery, curses, and sea battles would keep any plot moving along, but a girl being raised by pirates would certainly give this book a swarthy feel! 🏴‍☠️ Thank you for your informative review.

The book seems to have a good combination of adventure, mystery, and suspense. It also features a strong female protagonist who loses her parents at a young age and has to manage on her own in the tough world of pirates and slavery. I'd like to read more. Thanks for your review!

I don't know a lot about pirates but the #BOTD sounds like an entertaining read. I wonder if Brandy avenges her father's death? Great overview!

Excellent review! Your review has made me even more excited to read the book. I just chose it from the “book of the day”. I love historical romances full of adventure and suspense. Add in pirates and it’s going to be a long night of reading for me!

The appearance seemed like that of a childish book, but the subject seems actually interesting. I would like to give it a try.

I'm not interested in historical fiction or stories about pirates. I see that slavery is also an important part of the story, so I guess I'll pass on this one. Thanks for the insightful review!

Brandy is the pirate princess, raised by her parents who were both pirates aboard their ship, the Red Witch. This sounds like romantic tale full of action and adventure. Congratulations to the author for writing this fun book chosen as BOTD. Great review! Thanks to the reviewer for introducing me to this exciting story.

One expects a pirate story to be action-packed and fast-paced, but what makes this one stand out are the valuable lessons that are learnt along the way. Sounds like a great read. Thanks for the thorough review!

An exiting suspense filled pirate historical book. Imagine a childhood with well developed pirate charactered parents as disribed in the book. Her journey to Jamaica disguised as a slave on board a ship. Thank you for a well detailed review.
