Ms. Tanner is a fine writer as I could tell from reading the first several pages of the story. I wish her much luck in finding an appreciative audience for her book. Congratulations to the author on achieving BOTD.

I'm always fascinated by the politicking of the ancient Rome. The romance aspects are also very exciting. I got this book for free today and I'm sure going to read it.

This cover and the plot are reminding me a lot of Greek/Roman mythology. The Amazon review indicates that it's a very descriptive book. Congratulations on book of the day!

I'm not into historical fiction books so I think I'll pass. Thanks for the review!

I love historical fiction, and I know Linnea Tanner is an expert in ancient Rome. I've already added this short story to my reading list. Will Lucius pay for his father's sins? Will the emperor give him a chance? I can hardly wait to find out.

I am not a big fan of historical fiction stories. The politics of the Ancient Roman Empire were harsh compared to our current politics. However, that being said, I would also believe there was less criminal activity as well. Great review.

Politics carries a lot of intrigue with it. I love historical fiction, and your lovely review has aroused my interest. Thank you. I hope Lucius will not bear the sins of his father but will achieve his heart's desire. Congrats to the writer for what seems a captivating story.

An interesting historical fiction about ancient Roman political system, especially during the imperial rule of Augustus Caeser. Though not my usual genre, I'm curious about Lucius and the open ended nature. Congratulations on the BOTD.
