Wow, this book is amazing. It is especially upsetting that people who profess to be devoted to love and God would abuse orphaned boys in this manner. Though I am aware that it is true, it is nonetheless sad. I wish the author would improve the edition because the combination of a depressing subject with a subpar version and unfamiliar terminology makes me hesitant to read this book. Thanks for this review.

This review reminds me of a long time ago when in some African tribes bearing twins was an evil omen, and the infant twins would be taken into the deep jungle and left there by themselves to face the natural course of predators.
Even though Africa was smeared a 'dark continent' label, surprisingly most jewellery of monarchs in Europe comes from Africa, and now this story just shows that depravity knows no boundaries; fast forward to the present, that which is usually banned on social media as fake news turns out to be the truth that must be withheld from unsuspecting masses.
How many children have been and will face abortion as people continue to design laws that subject infants to devilish worship or sacrifice in its many forms?

The book seems interesting and poignant telling Milano's story of a "journey in a life of discrimination, slavery, political oppression, and economic oppression". Besides the lesson tought in the book that in order to survive, you have to do things that you would consider dishonorable under normal conditions is pretty harsh yet, unfortunately, necessary.
