The decision to take or preserve a life in the middle of a war must be a difficult dilemma for any soldier, even worse if he is very young. Interesting character-driven war story.

Obinna Chima Agoos gave The shot not heard around the world by Charlie Damitz a great review with a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

Obinna's highlights include that the novel is short, that the facts in the story taking place during the American Revolutionary War check out, and that all the characters were strong.

The Shot Not Heard Around the World transports you to 1775, where young Jeremy's choice not to pull the trigger sets a gripping Revolutionary War tale in motion. This novel contains meticulous historical details with a focus on internal turmoil over violence.

As a mother of Boys I would have a hard time if both my boys had to go to war. Though necessary we would endure and carry on til the end. Saving lives and our country is of the utmost.
