It’s amazing to see people bold enough to come out and tell their stories so that others can learn.Thank you Ashley Becker Whipple for sharing your story with us.Parents needs to be very attentive and conscious when it comes to raising a child. They need to have listening ears and pay special attention to the children and make sure they are involved in every part of their lives.Know the kind of friends they move with and the kind of places they go too.Don’t be too busy too listen to your child they might feel alone and look for solace in the wrong place.

What an informative review. It touches on the “flow” of the book, which I appreciate a lot as not many people focus on that. Thanks for the helpful review!

Parents are a child's safe place, their only support. So if they do not pay heed to a child's needs and choose to neglect their duties as guide and mentor, a child is bound to feel lost. It is refreshing to find a book emphasizing on the importance of being caring parents. Congrats on BOTD!
The review is well-written and is very detailed. Pointing out both positive and negative aspects of the book helps readers decide if they want to pick up the book or not. I thank you for sharing your thoughts on this beautiful book.

Thank you for a great review. Parenting is something that most people walk into with little knowledge and experience. This book, according to your review, may have some important insights on parenting, judging from how you have stressed the need for parents to be present in their children's lives. I will make time to read this book.

It's so important that parents understand their roles as teachers, guides, and role models and try to learn and do better each day.

The influence of our childhood on our adult selves is significant. It's crucial for parents to recognize their roles as educators, mentors, and examples, continuously striving to improve.

Xandria's experiences pique my curiosity, and I look forward to learning more. Excellent review!

This is not a book that I would typically read, but I'm sure it can be insightful for parents by opening up about life from a child's perspective and how children feel.

It is heartbreaking to read about instances in anyone's life that could have been averted. The author's life journey is inspiring despite the challenging early years of her life. I would recommend the book to those feeling stuck in circumstances that make life seem bleak. There's hope and you can overcome hurdles and go on to better, just like the author.
Thanks for the well-written review.
