Nice review. This does seem like an action packed adventure. I intrigued to see how these semi-mortals camera to be and how the react to situations. This is definitely going on my list.

It sounds like an interesting story about these nine hundred years old immortal mercenaries who are on this planet to protect the people.

Well written review. I was initially intrigued by the idea in the story to have immortal warriors throughout history, but after reading the full review I'm not sure I would enjoy it much. Even though it is a 4/4 book it just seems like I would have a hard time focusing to read it.

The suspense created was incredibly intense that I cannot wait to finally read the third book in the series.
WOW, you really enjoyed this book! Based on your review, it sounds a well-written historical fiction full of suspense, action, and unexpected twists and turns. I like that the author uses vivid description. Plus, it is well edited. Honestly, I got my copy even though I am not a huge fan of historical fiction and fantasy stories. However, it sound a must-read for fans of the genre! Thank you for the detailed review! :tiphat:

Why are they semi-immortals? Does that mean there is a way to kill them? And are there others like them? Too many questions popping in my head! The questions and the action-packed adventure are two of the things I look forward to reading in this novel. Thank you for your review!

This is a great review Kibetious. Detailed but does not give away too much. I really like that the author has the ability to perfectly interweave significant historical events and current scenarios in the world into the fiction story. This is one for my tbr list as I do enjoy historical fictions. I hope to get the other books in the series too.

Thank you for this very detailed review, i’m glad you liked it. I’m sure many will find this interesting too, it’s just that i’m not so much a fan of this genre, so I think I’m going to have to pass. Again thank you and congrats to the author on the #BOTD🎉

Amazing review. Plot sounds good and suspenseful plus it's nice that the author's writing shows the contrast in different times and cultures. It would be interesting to know how characters cope up with immortality. I will add this to my to-read list. Thanks for your review, and congratulations to the author.

Thanks for the review. The book sounds very interesting with lot of action, drama, twist and turns and the added aspect of semi-immortality adds up to our curiosity.

I'm not too keen on the romantic aspects, but I do love tales of (semi)immortals. At the same time, though, I NEVER read stories out of order, so it seems I'd have to get book one first.

I'm interested in trying something new! Thank you for sharing that this story is slow paced with stories that can seemingly stand alone as to develope characters. I would like to read the first book after reading the sample provided. Got review intrigues me! Thank you!

This sounds like a very interesting book and the title of the series makes me think that I have heard about it before. I like the cover art and the plot of the story is something that makes me want to read the book. I like that the series still holds up because sometimes books in a series can seem disjointed. I am wondering how knights from the 1100s can fly fighter jets, but I guess that I will have to find that out myself.
