I am looking forward to read the whole series. The story is quit interesting, the forbidden love. Historical knowledge and also Roman and Celtic cultures are some things I already like in this book. Thank you for your review.

I enjoyed the first book in this series, and it sounds like Linnea Tanner doesn’t disappoint in this third installment either. Forbidden love mixed with my favorite kind of historical fiction (namely, involving Greek and/or Roman history/mythology)? Sign me up!

Sounds like a good action romance book with historical knowledge. It's good the author included summary of previous books in this one. It will make reading and comprehension a lot easier.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

Historical fiction with some fantasy mixed in with shapeshifting is an intriguing mixture. I think I would enjoy reading it. Thanks for a wonderful review!

I love that the author includes a brief summary of the previous two books. While it sounds exciting, I am not generally a fan of historical romance and am not sure I can keep up with this one. However, the strong female lead is wonderful and the plot sounds exhilirating. Thanks for an enticing review!

This is a great review.torch the real state of the story. Through the sample given, I find this book fascinating and a must read story. Communication with a raven is an art that many cannot fathom. Catrin is in the game. She understands its language. Congrats on being BOTD.

For some reason, I couldn’t get into the first book even though I wanted to, so it’s unlikely I’ll read this sequel. I hope others enjoy all of the gladiator action and mysticism!

The plot is nice, where the male main character loses memory and the female character becomes a slave and pushed to her limits. How they will reunite with these new personalities is very exciting and intriguing! Congrats!

Historical fiction, fantasy, romance, mythology...today's BOTD has it all! If you enjoyed the first two books in the highly-popular Curse of Clansmen and Kings series, then Book 3 is definitely one you don't want to miss! Thank you for the great review!! :-)

I think Catrin made a good gladiator, being filled with the pain of abuse and a feeling of disappointment. Thanks for the informative review the plot is really interesting.

This book promises to be as interesting as the two previous ones. And I hope Marcellus and Catrin will finally get their happily ever after. It is also good that the author provided the reviews for the other two installments at the beginning of the book and the list of characters at the back to know who is who. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Interesting and intriguing just like the other two books from the Curse of Clansmen and Kings Series. Definitely worth reading even if only tenth of what is promised in review is actually true. Pity they are not free))
