It sounds like the blend of ancient Egyptian history, godly worship, travel between cities, and relevant archeological details keeps this plot intriguing throughout! Thank you for providing such a thorough and insightful review. 👁‍🗨

The book sounds interesting and though I'm not a fan of historical fiction I will give this book a try. I know almost nothing about the Egyptian history, just some general facts, so it will be very educational to find out more about the Egyptian culture. And Hani's murder investigation is just an additional bonus as mystery is one of my favourite genres. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Historical fiction isn't a genre that I like but the #BOTD seems to have a personal drama. From what little knowledge I have from Egyptian history, their rulers were some of the most ruthless and unforgiving people in the world.
Great assessment of the dialogue differences.

I'm always cautious about historical novels. This is a time period I have never read about and I'm curious to know how it relates to us. The book seems quite intriguing.

I love historical fiction stories as they enlighten the reader without presenting the information in such a cut and dry manner. Having the author user vernacular language makes this story more engaging. I look forward to grabbing myself a copy of the book. Thank you for an eye-opening review.

A historical fiction set in ancient Egypt during a political turmoil sounds fascinating. I’m particulary intrigued by the author’s stylistic choice. I rarely encounter a historical fiction that uses the vernacular language. Maybe this book is worth checking out.

Egypt has always been mystical to me and with Lord Hani investigating a mystery in a mysterious country is a novel right up my alley. I am looking forward to digging into this book to unravel the many fascinating things about Egypt and how intriguing character Hani is.
