Impeccable review; very thorough and informative. I recently developed a liking for historical fiction as they give a glimpse into the past, and as such, would really like to read Chameleons. The book's title is also intriguing. Congrats on being the BOTD.

A very good reminder of how Jews were brutalized by the Germans during the reign of Hitler. Unfortunately I'm not into this kind of texts. Nice review
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

Seems very compelling, plus I love historical fiction, especially of the Nazi era (one of my favourites is Anne Frank). Nice review!

Thanks for the excellent review! Grandpappy Haran sounds like an awesome character! I am a fan of historical fiction, but anything about Nazism is upsetting to me. Thank you for putting precautions about violence and torture in your review, as well as profanity and nudity. I enjoyed reading your review!

Nazism is among the worst political disease in European history. Adolf Hitler's propaganda brought Germany to the wrong side of European agenda. Thanks for the review.

The relationship between Grandpappy and Brigyda intrigues me. We don't usually get to see grandfather-grandchild duos so this sounds interesting.
