From the sections of the book that I read, I could tell that the author has a fine writing style, and has created some solid characters. However, I do not care for books that promote a Christian lifestyle so I'll be skipping this. Nevertheless, congratulations are in order to the author for achieving BOTD.

I don't believe the book was labeled right. This storyline's genre sounds more along the lines of inspirational, spiritual and religious, than historical fiction. By the way all the are most definitely not my type of preferred reading material, so it will not surprise anyone that I'll pass it. Still, congrats on the BOTD!

I love that the same friend that helped lead George astray ended up helping him turn it back around. This sounds like a wonderful story. I do not usually read books about faith, but may check this one out. I’m not sure this qualifies as historical fiction but seems like a good story.
