William must have had quite an adventure in Spain during the Civil War.

Thank you for the great review.

Traveling during a civil war with a purpose is something to acknowledge. This narrative takes the reader to a whole new experience of inspiration and ambition, and also love for a particular language.

This historical fiction is perfect for readers who want to learn more about Spain and its history. Let's follow the story of William as he made his way through odd jobs just to immerse himself with the Spanish culture. However, the Civil War made it difficult for him. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This story sounds suspenseful and filled with a lot of action. Will I call Williams's travel to Spain during a civil war, as being courageous or taking a risk? Thanks to the author for putting this great piece together. Nice review.

This is an interesting historical fiction book about a Spanish teacher from Virginia in the 1930s. Readers will follow the adventures on his journey to Spain during the Civil War there. The book reviewer mentioned rich character development and that is always a plus for me. Congratulations to Brian Snowden!

This book seems to be full of adventure. A well-researched historical-fiction that shares informations of people, politics, culture, and religion during civil war in Spain. William's journey must be challenging and remarkable. Great review!

The historical fiction genre is one of my favorites, but usually only before 1900. This seemingly well written story of a young American experiencing the events of the Spanish Civil is totally out of my comfort zone. For that reason I will probably pass on this book, but congratulations to the author for attaining BOTD honors. Great review as well!

Since I do not know much about the Spanish civil war, I think it'll be good to get the book. Also, having some insight on the Spanish culture will be great too. Congratulations on BOTD.
