Todays botd is a historical mystery by Mary Ann Trail that describes the migration struggles experienced by Jeffrey Chadwick and his household during an extreme cold winter period. The whole plot seems interesting. Looking forward to reading this. Thank you for an informative review.

I realized that even though the book cover appeared to be a romance novel, it contained very minor romantic scenes.
- I love romance and historical mystery novels but somehow this did not appeal to me. The effort on the review was wonderful. Thank you.

From the book cover, one would think it is fully a romantic novel. Almost everyone would fall for that. Anyways, thank you for your review.

It's interesting how your review has piqued my interest yet I know I'm not a lover of historical romance books. I'd love to explore this family's dynamics and how the function. Good review.

Jeffery Chadwick and his wife migration to America , I guess was for greener pasture but things didn't really work out exactly the way he planned. Oh I wish to know more about this historical fiction. Your review is so intriguing.

The book sounds exciting showing the life and struggles of immigrants in the 1800s in the United States and a mystery murder and its investigation which will be really interesting to read about. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Their Winter Burn by Mary Ann Trail, presents a captivating historical mystery backdrop in 19th-century Boston. The author skillfully transports readers to that era, while the narrative's suspense escalates. The characters' growth stands out prominently.

A very intriguing and captivating book, one that would take you to your roots and give you a feel of how people in the 1800s lived, I am very interested in finding out what happened when they found the door unlatched.
