This is already insightful and intriguing. The fantasy of the story and the adventure of friends who never age is exciting. It will be a roller coasters ride following their stories as they protect mankind. Great review!

The ability to correlate historical events with current events is a difficult talent that this author seems to have mastered. Semi-immortality is an interesting topic. I’m not sure about the standalone stories within the novel, but I guess it could be interesting. Thanks for the comprehensive review.

The concept of 900 year old semi-immortal beings seems interesting.

Thank you for the great review.

Although this is a historical fiction book it is also fantasy as it is about characters who are virtually immortal as they are over 900 years old. These are tales of combat in the past extending to the modern battlefield which includes jet fighters. The concept of longevity has always fascinated me and the story of these beings as knights and modern day soldiers sounds exciting reading. The review was nicely detailed and appealing as well.

A nice historical fantasy book "The Noble Mercenary" by Patrick John Donahoe, which focuses on the four semi immortal beings Ian, Jacques, Serena, and Desiree who are aged around nine hundred years, and still looking after welfare of the people is really quite Interesting. The stories are full of twists and turns that hold the reader engaged till the end is quite tempting.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The odd mix of historical fiction that involves semi-immortal beings does sound complicated to meld into a writing topic. I’m willing to give it a try on your information and description in your review. Thank you for a well-defined summary.

The four characters which are semi-immortal living over hundreds of years should be fascinating to read. I would like to delve into this historical book.

Quite a unique story. Semi-immortal beings flying fighter jets sounds really awesome. Wonder how long it took them to learn how to fly it. I hope they get to stop the Select when the series ends. Good review.

I love that some of the chapters stand-alone. That's an interesting concept. Your review makes the book sound intriguing, so I want to read it. The immortals trying to help the world makes for a good plot. Thanks.
