Great review Cecilia_L. This action packed historical fiction includes kidnapping, theft, and murder. I kept thinking how great a movie the story would make. Fantastic end to the Warramunga trilogy. A great addition to my tbr list.

That the book was professionally edited and the characters well-developed is certainly a plus. I didn't read the previous books in the series, so I won't read this one as well. I am glad you found it fascinating, though. Thank you for the review!

Your review made the book more exciting than the summary of the book. That being said, is not part of my reading choice.
Thank you.

Good thing that these books stand alone, because in that case I can read this one and then go back for the middle one. The sense of humor you mentioned was a noticeable aspect of the first book as well, and it really adds to the charm of the book. Thanks for the great review!
Thank you. I appreciate your comment.

Jack O'Brien and Jamie Munro are an ideal peas in a pod. They are interdependent on each other, and their characters support this read in every way. I appreciate the author's use of humor to make this read a delight. Thank you for your review!
I'm glad you enjoyed the author's work, as well. I appreciate your comment.

Ever_Reading wrote: 30 Nov 2018, 09:48 Humour and heart-pounding action are definitely Greg Kater's strengths. I haven't gotten time to continue with the series ever since I read the first book. However, I'm glad this one could stand on its own. I might just read it before I read the second one. Your review has renewed my interest in the series. Thank you!
