Thank you for the excellent review. I read a lot of historical fiction set in WWII, and this sounds like a great book for me.

This sounds like a great book, I like that it sheds light on an overlooked part of WWII. However, war stories are not really my thing. But thanks anyway.

A historical fiction story that's centered around the true story of a Belgian heroine who outwitted the Nazis sounds engaging.

I was immediately captivated by this story when I read the sample. The historical background is enlightening as it details an aspect of World War 2 that is rarely mentioned. It should be an enjoyable read.

Today's BOTD is historical fiction at its best! Readers will be fully engaged in the stories of the unsung heroes of WWII. I'm looking forward to learning more about Lily, a courageous woman who risked her life to save over 250 soldiers! Thank you for your excellent review! :-)

Despite few things the reviewer didn't like (I'd probably agree), this seams like a very good book. I like historical fiction. And this one is also inspiring to believe that good exists in people. We need a reminder of that once in a while.

While I enjoy historical fiction this book doesn't seem to pique my interest. I don't read a lot of stories that center around war so I think that this is one that I will be passing on.

I noticed the repetition as well, but like you, it didn't bother me enough to stop reading. This promises to be a grand tale of heroic deeds! It shines a light on how people are their best when things are at their worst. Thanks for the great review!

Although I'm not used to reading historical fiction, I really enjoyed reading this. It's very intriguing and makes me want to keep reading to know more about Tony's father. I'll definitely finish reading this book. :D

This sounds like a fascinating book, providing the reader an entirely different aspect of WW II than what is commonly found. Great review.

I don’t often read war stories, but I do appreciate a narrative that goes off the beaten path as this one seems to. I would be interested in checking this one out! Great review!

This historical fiction is quite intriguing. As with most war heroes, they are not widely known, but they all left a huge impact to those people they saved. I look forward to reading more of this novel.

I enjoy historical fiction, but tend to shy away from wartime focused novels. However, this one sounds so good I may have to give it a try anyway! Great review!
