While some things have changed, women still deal with similar struggles today so it should be easy to relate with the protagonist. Great review!

"Love and Sabotage" by Martha Tolles - excellent review, I understood the story of a young woman in wartime, holding down a job while the men were away. Fighting exploitation by the boss, how the heroine would enjoy today's Me Too movement.

Sounds like an interesting read, and while I know it's important for me to understand the struggles of women before me who paved the way for feminism, I think this book might make me angry about Marty's situation. Also, I'm not interested in U.S. history, so for that reason I'll pass on this one. Thanks for your review!
