It is important that young people read historical books so the new generation won’t forget what happened before. This is why I love historical fiction that’s based on true stories. Thanks for your review!

I was captivated by the book title. I'm a fan of historical fiction so I would enjoy reading it. I love the fact that there are actual pictures of the events, it makes the story more relatable. Kudos to the author for writing this book. Thanks for your honest review.

Oh, wow! The Weeping Woman of Putten sounds like something I would like to read despite probably crying as I did so.

The people of Putten were brave to allow resistance fighters to meet in an attic!

The strong female character is terrific. So is the love shown between her and her family and fiance'. It may seem very little to some people, but, at least it's shown.

Initially, the cover and the title grabbed my attention. After reading the review I feel that this book might not be for me. I'm not a big fan of books like this one. However, the review was done very well. Thanks for an amazing review!

Thanks for your excellent review. I have read the sample and must say this book seems to have a different storyline than others about the Nazi actions during WWII. Congrats on BOTD

The story of the Nazi war crime against the town of Putten and Netherlands is a story that interests me. I look forward to learning about that part of history through this well-written book. Thanks for this excellent review.

I have a thing with stories that are based on real life events. And being a historical fiction fan, I'll add the book to my want to read bookshelf. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

This novel sounds intriguing. I enjoy reading historical fiction based on true events. I believe seeing the real pictures of the destroyed town of Putten, the German camps, and the people, provided by the author will be a humbling experience. I typically do not care to read Nazi war crime novels, but this book sounds interesting. Based on the review, I think I will try it. Thank you for the excellent review.

Another historical novel, from a time in history that I find truly fascinating. It is always interesting to see how totalitarian governments have reacted to certain situations, and I think that this novel, based on true events, is a brilliant reflection of the way people handled this. I wish that more people would read books like this, so that we never have a repeat of this sort of thing again. I enjoyed the review which explained this book very effectively.
