Thanks for the great review. This sounds like an interesting book with pirates and ships trading in the Caribbean. I can understand the difficulty in looking for grammatical errors when reading the dialog. It makes it much more difficult.

My favorite type of historical adventure! Pirates, battles on the sea, treasures and not one dull moment among action, intrigue and suspense. Loved description in review and sample enough to get the book right away to start reading. Most sincere congratulations on BOTD!

This book reminds me of Pirates of the Carribeans—perhaps a little too much. Be that as it may, I'd still like to know what Brandy's choice is. Does she go for the Red Witch or not? And what does that mean for Don Lomoche?

The book sounds interesting. I'm not a great fan of historical fiction but I think the pirate's life is exciting and it will interesting to read about their life and hardships and about the Caribbeans in general. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

A historical fiction about pirates is something I'd love to delve into. I've never read a book about pirates. Congrats on BOTD!

A girl raised by pirates is most rare. Would however present an interesting journey. Great review.

Any book that combines the story of pirates, curses and slavery must definitely be a captivating tale, and this one promises to be just that. I cannot wait to find out what Brandy chooses, whether it is to follow in the footsteps of her parents to regain her birthright or a completely different path in life. Thanks for a gripping review!

I find it very amusing that you tried to count the grammatical errors in this book, but then realized that pirates are not known for their excellent grammatical skills. It must have been challenging to review a book and find unintentional errors. I always like to read or hear stories about pirates because of their adventures and how hard life on the open ocean was for these people. I also like that the main character is a young women who is both self-determined and skilled in the art of piracy.

A story about pirates, I'm already intrigued. Would Brandy choose to take back the Red Witch? Can't wait to find out. Interesting review!

A story about a girl raised by pirates will surely bring a great fictional adventure. A lot of battles, suspense, and a dash of romance are things to look out for. I will definitely check this book out.
